We underestimate the power and significance that portraits hold. These images that we craft have so much meaning - not only to us, but also to our future generations.

You might not have been professionally photographed before, and may be feeling a little unsure at the thought of being in front of the camera. How does it work? Should I look at the camera? How do I pose? What do I need to bring? Should I smile?
I've been a photographer for 25 years, and my calm, unhurried manner makes the experience of being photographed easy and enjoyable. I'll guide you every step of the way so you'll always know what we're doing next.
Much of this confidence will come from the preparation, and begins with our Creative Consultation where we map out all the details of your shoot... from the style of your shoot, to your outfits, your hair & make up, and how you'll display your portraits afterwards. I'll walk you through the whole process, step by step, so that even if you don't know what you want right now, I can guarantee that by the day of the shoot you'll feel 100% ready and prepared.
Any pre-shoot nerves (which are expected!) usually disappear as soon as you walk in the door to the studio - I'll greet you with a delicious drink and my favourite studio playlist, and the fun will begin.

This is where the magic happens! We already know exactly what we're shooting for, so all you have to do is show up, and my team and I will do the rest.

Once I've received your contact form, I'll be in touch promptly to arrange a short 20 minute call where you can ask me any questions, and I'll find out more about what kinds of portraits you're looking for.
If you’re commissioning a Children’s Fine Art Portrait or a Contemporary Family Portrait, I always start with the end in mind - the artwork we’re creating together; every portrait commission is designed to become a finished, framed piece of art for your home. On our call, I’ll walk you through exactly how it all works and answer any questions you might have. Once you’re happy to proceed, I’ll send you a booking link after our call so you can reserve your session. I’ll also confirm a date and time for the next step - your Creative Consultation - where we’ll plan every detail of your portraits together.
My Modern Headshot sessions work a little differently - they’re designed to be simple and efficient so after our call, I’ll send you a link to my booking system so you can choose your preferred date and time directly. You’ll also receive a Preparation Guide with everything you need to feel confident and ready for your session, so there's no need for a separate Creative Consultation. You can find out more about my Modern Headshot sessions here.
I wanted to build a photography studio dedicated to crafting timeless portraits that would elevate my clients, celebrate their beauty and bring joy to their lives.
Drawing from a wide range of influences including Vanity Fair, The Dutch Old Masters and the early Twentieth century studio photographers, I create photographs that are both modern and timeless.
