BEHIND THE LENS
I grew up in the quiet beauty of the Dorset countryside, 10 miles from where I currently live with my husband, teenage boys and rescue dog.
My father was an artist and worked from his studio next to our home, and ever since starting my photography career 25 years ago I longed to do the same. My dream has now become a reality, and I now run my own photography studio where I have the privilege of creating timeless, stylish portraits that bring joy to me and - more importantly - my clients every day.
my APPROACH -
I wanted to build a photography studio dedicated to crafting timeless portraits that would elevate my clients, celebrate their beauty and bring joy to their lives.
Drawing from a wide range of influences including Vanity Fair, The Dutch Old Masters and the early Twentieth century studio photographers, I create photographs that are both modern and timeless.

I went on to complete a Master's degree in Art History, and now art - both traditional and contemporary - is the main inspiration for my photography practice. Indeed, the word 'photography' comes from the Greek words phos and graphe, literally translating as 'drawing with light'.
Renowned for my attention to detail, minimal aesthetic and relaxed style, I love to create one-of-a-kind portraits that'll look as good in 100 years as they do today.
It all began by watching my father in his studio. Sitting next to him as he painted, I started to learn about the use of colour, composition and the quality of light. I learnt how to read an image and how emotion is created through the visual language of art.
